Han Ji-min stuns in sky-blue at 'The Atypical Family' press event, eyes new drama role
South Korean actress Han Ji-min turned heads at the press conference for JTBC’s upcoming fantasy romance drama “The Atypical Family”, also known by its Korean title “More Beautiful Than Heaven.”
Her agency, BH Entertainment, shared behind-the-scenes images from the April 18 event, capturing Han in a light blue dress that perfectly matched the ethereal tone of the drama. Her elegant look drew comparisons to the show’s poetic title.
Han plays Som-i, a mysterious figure whose appearance sparks curiosity. The series follows Hae-sook (played by veteran actress Kim Hye-ja), who arrives in heaven in her 80s and unexpectedly reunites with her much-younger husband, Nak-joon (Son Suk-ku), now in his 30s.
Han’s most recent work, “My Perfect Secretary,” was praised for its chemistry with co-star Lee Jun-hyuk. She’s also in talks to star in another romance drama, “The Efficient Encounter of Single Men and Women,” where she would portray a hotelier navigating the fine line between modern love and marriage.
With back-to-back roles showcasing her range, Han Ji-min continues to assert herself as one of Korea’s most versatile and bankable actresses. “The Atypical Family” premieres April 19 on JTBC.
